2017 CCBA Nominee
Another CCBA nominee, I think this book will be very popular in the library. Ellie is a search-and-rescue dog, and her purpose is to find people and save them. The book tells Ellie's story from Ellie's perspective, from her earliest memories of her litter to her training and Work. Ellie's nose detects emotions, loneliness, anxiety, danger, and the missing. Young animal lovers will eat this up.
