Four young ladies approached me yesterday with an idea for an event to raise funds to purchase books for the library. Today they came back with more detailed plans: on Friday, October 10, Parmalee Elementary will celebrate "Mustachetastic Day!" Students may donate one dollar and either wear or draw a mustache on their faces for the day. The girls would like to help the library select and purchase new graphic novels, books based on the movie Frozen, and other "cool titles." How wonderful -- thank you, girls!
